If you’re looking to buy home decor, appliances, or home improvement necessities (you know, for all that down time you totally have for reno projects between the holidays), Black Friday is a great time to head to Home Depot. Nov. 27 may seem like it’s way off in the distant future, but it’s never too early to start making your wishlist—and now that fall is upon us, the holiday shopping season will be here before you know it.
Home Depot has yet to announce this year’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, but looking back at last year’s sale is a good way to measure what we can expect in 2020. In 2019, the retailer offered discounts on everything from appliances from Samsung, LG, and more, to pre-lit Christmas trees, smart home products, and even holiday inflatables.
If some shiny new appliances are at the top of your Black Friday shopping list, keep in mind that last year, Home Depot offered up to 40 percent off appliance special buys with up to an extra $600 off depending on which—and how many—appliances shoppers purchased.

According to the page’s Black Friday FAQ, the brand suggests signing up for text alerts to be the first to learn about exclusive offers, and you can score a $5 off coupon just for signing up (you can do that here).
